Tips voor de griep en verkoudheid

Griep is een virus. Sneller herstel of voorkomen kunt u vaak bereiken door uw immuunsysteem in betere conditie te brengen. Wij hebben een aantal orthomoleculaire tips op een rijtje gezet.

Verbeter uw immuunsysteem met voedingsmaatregelen:

▪ eet dagelijks minstens 3 stuks fruit;

▪ eet dagelijks 2 porties groente;

▪ drink 2 liter vocht per dag ( koffie en alkohol niet meegerekend;

▪ drink maximaal 2 koppen koffie per dag;

▪ vrouwen maximaal 1 glas alkohol per dag, mannen maximaal 2 glazen alkohol, en dat niet vaker dan 5x per week.

▪ eet dagelijks ui en/of knoflook;

▪ eet regelmatig shii-take paddestoelen;

▪ eet 2x per week vis, bij voorkeur vette vis;

▪ zo weinig mogelijk suiker, zoetjes, en andere zoetigheid;

▪ rook niet!

Verbeter uw immuunsysteem door beweging:

▪ Beweging/Sporten

▪ verbetert het immuunsysteem. Topsport daarentegen maakt u juist meer vatbaar voor infecties. Daarom: dagelijks 30 minuten wandelen, fietsen, hardlopen, gymnastiek, enz.;

▪ Buitenlucht.

▪ Frisse lucht maken de longen schoon. Zonlicht stimuleert de aanmaak van vitamine D, nodig voor het immuunsysteem.Griepvirussen houden niet van kou.

Verbeter uw immuunsysteem met voedingssupplementen:

▪ vitamine C. 

▪ Slik dit de hele herfst en winter. Kinderen tot 12 jaar 500 mg, ouderen 1000 mg per dag. Als de eerste griepverschijnselen optreden ( rillerig, verkouden, spierpijn) dosering verhogen

▪ naar 3 x per dag 500 (tot 12 jaar) en 3x 1000 mg vitamine C (volwassenen).

▪ Vitamine D3

▪ De hele herst en winter 1 x daags 10 mcg, voor kinderen én volwassenen. Vitamine D wordt in de huid aangemaakt onder invloed van zonlicht, maar de zon is niet krachtig genoeg in de winter. Mensen die weinig buiten komen en mensen met een donkere huid hebben misschien een nog hogere dosis nodig. Overleg met uw arts/therapeut, laat eventueel bloedonderzoek doen.

▪ Zink

▪ Bij keelklachten:

▪ Zink-zuigtabletten, 3-4x per dag.

▪ * Vlierbessenextract ( Sambuca, Sambucol)

▪ Innemen bij de eerste griepverschijnselen. Dit voorkomt dat het griepvirus zich kan vermeerderen. Te koop bij de biologische winkel, of bij de apotheek.

▪ Echinacea ( Echinaforce).

▪ Begin ermee bij de eerste griepverschijnselen ( verkouden, koorts, rillerig, spierpijn). Het is niet effectief om Echinacea preventief te gebruiken.Juist door een korte intensieve kuur wordt het immuunsysteem gestimuleerd.
